Hello my goddess name is Ixchel, and Welcome to my page dedicated to the Goddess Energy that dwells within every female (and male) spirit.
I chose the Goddess name Ixchel because her healing, nocturnal and ancient spirit resonates very closely to my heart.
In Mayan mythology, Ixchel is the Mayan Moon Goddess, and is associated with Medicine, Healing, Fertility, and represents the Crone stage of a woman’s life. There are 3 stages of a woman’s life; Maiden. Mother. Crone. Together they are also known as the Triple Goddess.
I started this page because of my growing curiosity in the concept of “The Goddess” and “The Divine Sacred Feminine”. This is a site for me to post the interesting findings concerning this topic, as well as a place to discuss female (and male) empowerment. I also am going to post information about belly dance, hula hooping, and yoga, because I feel like those are some of the most nurturing arts and exercise for the female spirit.
